Therapy & Counseling Services
Compassionate, evidence-based support tailored to you
At Jess Walls Therapy, I offer a personalized, trauma-informed approach to mental health care. My practice serves clients in Longmont, Boulder, and throughout Boulder County, Colorado. I work with adults, teens, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and more.
Whether you’re seeking support through traditional talk therapy, interested in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), or exploring EMDR for trauma resolution, I’ll work collaboratively with you to find the right path forward.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a powerful modality for adults experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, or stuck patterns that haven’t responded to traditional therapy. In this work, low-dose ketamine—administered by a licensed medical provider—is combined with psychotherapy to help you access deeper insight, loosen rigid patterns, and facilitate emotional breakthroughs.
I partner with trusted local prescribers for medical screening and ketamine administration, and together we integrate the experience within a therapeutic framework focused on healing and resilience. KAP is always trauma-informed, client-centered, and grounded in evidence-based care.
Ketamine-assisted therapy is available only for adult clients following a medical screening and clinical assessment.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR therapy is a well-researched, effective approach for processing trauma, anxiety, and distressing memories. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR allows you to access and resolve root experiences without needing to verbally rehash painful events.
I use EMDR with clients of all backgrounds, including those healing from childhood trauma, single-incident events, or long-term stress. This approach can help reduce emotional charge, build new internal resources, and promote lasting emotional relief.
Traditional Counseling Services
In addition to EMDR and ketamine-assisted therapy, I offer a range of evidence-based talk therapy services to support your mental health journey. Areas of focus include:
- Anxiety and panic disorders
- Depression and mood challenges
- Grief and loss
- Life transitions and identity work
- Relationship issues and boundaries
- Stress and burnout
- Self-worth and personal growth
My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel supported, seen, and empowered—whether you’re navigating something acute or exploring long-term patterns.
Let’s Work Together
Finding the right therapist is a deeply personal decision. I invite you to reach out with any questions or to schedule a consultation to see if we’re a good fit. Whether you’re new to therapy or returning after a break, I’m here to meet you where you are—with compassion and clarity.
As a therapist, I’m deeply committed to creating a space that affirms and welcomes all identities. I work with individuals of all races, genders, sexual orientations, neurotypes, and cultural backgrounds. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, body-neutral, and rooted in an anti-oppression framework. I strive to meet each client with curiosity, humility, and respect, recognizing the unique lived experiences you bring into the room.
Mental health care should be inclusive, equitable, and deeply human—and that’s the foundation of the work we’ll do together.
